With over a decade of international experience as a professional badminton player and a successful career as an entrepreneur, Samin is passionate about implementing sustainable practices and effective communication, supported through her background in sport development.
Combining expertise in psychology, coaching, project management, and digital marketing, she has supported many athletes in building their personal brands through social media and influencer marketing.
She is dedicated to athlete empowerment, youth engagement, gender equality, and advancing sport development initiatives.
Committed to continuous learning and knowledge sharing, Samin welcomes opportunities to connect and collaborate. She believes in the unifying power of sport.
DRIVING POSITIVE CHANGE
Throughout her career as a professional athlete, Samin witnessed the struggles that young girl athletes faced, especially in developing countries. Back home, she established her own academy to support more badminton talents, aiming to have a positive impact. Upon moving to Switzerland, she became more involved in international sports, with the dream of supporting more athletes and driving positive changes in the world of sports. Now, at the United Nations headquarters, she was the one of the very few advocates emphasizing the importance of sports in the development of young girls and its role in women’s empowerment. Additionally, she discussed the impactful work we were doing in Iran with PNG NGO, where women are shown how to run their own businesses and achieve financial independence.
